Honour to those who have left us

I want to start this blog since Lake Cowichan is such an important place in my memory. I was off to a hockey game the other night, my first playoff game in my men's league, and I realized what got me pumped was thinking of the old days in Lake Cowichan. Not to mention that it took some of the pressure off to think of the good thoughts.
I also want to start some dialogue with you on facebook or whoever else wants to join this, so we can keep these things in our memories and share fun, sad, meaningful, proud, and eventful stories.
I also want to just remember those who have passed on. I am 42 years old, but as a teenager, already 3 guys had passed away. I do not want to make this sad, but Darryl Smith, Larry Eddy and Robert Barry were amongst those who have left us. I also want to honour my grandfather, Adam Nimmo and grandma, Muriel Nimmo, who loved Lake Cowichan and as we write, we can include some of these people in our stories too.
